Your gas mileage mostly depends on what kind of car you drive; engine displacement and vehicle weight are the largest determining factors on gas mileage, and there’s not much you can do to change either of those. That doesn’t mean attempting to improve your fuel economy is a completely hopeless endeavor, however. With these tips from Performance Automotive, Inc in San Diego, CA, you might be surprised how much your fuel mileage can be improved.
It’s time to start ringing in the new year. From all of us at Performance Automotive, Inc in San Diego, CA, we hope you’ve had a great holiday season and look forward to seeing you in 2019.
This morning I was having issues with my 2015 Terrain stalling while braking. It is still covered under warranty from CarMax and Performance Automotive is on their list of preferred shops. Since I was on my way to work in stop and go morning traffic, I didn't feel safe driving it with continuous stalling. After my boyfriend gave them a call and spoke with Tiffany, they said it would be no problem for them to look at it same day, I had it towed to there. I have nothing but great things to say about Ryan and Tiffany. They made me feel so comfortable and explained everything thoroughly to me. They even stayed after shop hours to get another part, and install it to make sure I would get my car back same day and it was completely fixed. Thank you both so much! - Theresa D. A battery isn’t something you would expect to be affected by weather; as long as it’s charged, most batteries just work. Vehicle batteries, however, are actually noticeably impacted by cold weather. You may notice on especially cold mornings that your vehicle is a little slower to start then normal...that’s because your battery struggles a little more than usual in the cold.
